INTERNATIONAL — Sustainable High-Tech Tokyo 2024

Sirin Orbital Systems AG was honoured to be among top 12 Swiss young companies, selected by the Consulate of Switzerland, Swissnex in Japan to participate in the Swisstech Pavilion at SusHi Tech Tokyo 2024.

SusHi Tech or Sustainable High City Tech is the Asia’s largest and Japan’s only global innovation conference that creates “new encounters” with both domestic and international startup ecosystems to solve the common global urban issues. It is a a two-day program to create “sustainable new values” by leveraging diverse ideas, digital know-how, and cutting-edge technology to take on urban challenges that the world will inevitably face, such as demographic change, environmental and energy concerns, aging infrastructure, and the preservation of traditional culture. Various stakeholders, including leading startups from Asia and around the world, investors, large corporations, countries/cities, and student entrepreneurs, gathered in Tokyo to foster business open innovation with huge social and economic impact.

The Swisstech Pavilion at SusHi Tech Tokyo 2024 Global Startup Program showcased the latest trends and cutting-edge research of high-tech Swiss Startups to a vast public of corporate partners and investors. The Swisstech Pavilion was organized by Swissnex in Japan in partnership with Swisstech (Presence Switzerland, Innosuisse, Swissnex, Switzerland Global Enterprise), Swiss Business Hub Japan, Innovaud and Science & Technology Office Tokyo at the Embassy of Switzerland in Japan.

Sirin Orbital Systems AG contributed to SusHi Tech Tokyo 2024 through its concept of “Clean Energy from Space for Civilians” in support of Net-Zero climate target by 2050 via Space-based Solar Power (SBSP). This relies on our cutting-edge Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) technologies, which will build the future of wireless energy supply to households and businesses all around the globe.
