Sirin Orbital Systems AG is honoured to be recognized as a member of Swissmem and its specialized Swiss Space Industries Group (SSIG). Swissmem founded in 1883 is the association for Switzerland’s mechanical and electrical engineering industries (MEM industries) and related technology-oriented sectors. It represents the interests of the MEM industries in the commercial, political and public spheres, and boosts the competitive capacity of its 1,250 or so member companies with needs-based services.

Sirin Orbital Systems AG was invited to present its business portfolio at the SSIG Mid-Year Assembly on 19 June 2024 in Bern, a presentation which was well received by the Swiss space community. Keynotes were focused on the Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) and Micropropulsion technologies being developed by SIRIN, two core competences of SIRIN which are considered also unique in the national level and highly important for the Swiss MEM industries portfolio in general.

Sirin Orbital Systems AG was featured on Swissnex for its particpation in the SusHi Tech Tokyo 2024. From 15 to 16 May, the global tech community converged in Tokyo for the SusHi Tech Tokyo 2024 Global Startup Program. Swissnex in Japan brought together 12 Swiss startups under the Swisstech Pavilion to foster open innovation and address global urban issues with a focus on sustainability and technology.

Swissnex is an initiative of the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation and is part of the Confederation’s network abroad managed by the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs. The activities of Swissnex are based on a collaborative approach, relying on public and private partnerships and funding.

“Swiss start-ups shine at SusHi Tech Tokyo conference” was the title of news published by the Swiss Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan (SCCIJ) with a detailed account of 12 Swiss top start-ups attending the Asia’s largest innovation conference, SusHi Tech Tokyo 2024. Thanks to Swissnex in Japan for the invitation to be among most innovative Swiss young companies and the Swisstech Pavilion for warmly hosting us in Tokyo.
