PANELLIST — GALIX CONGRESS 2021

Sirin Orbital Systems AG is honoured to be a panellist along with NASA and Aerospace’s Center for Orbital and Reentry Debris Studies (CORDS) in the The GALIX Inaugural Congress 2021.

Global Alliance for International Collaboration in Space (GALIX) is an International Coalition to Advance and Diversify Space Innovation and Development for All Humankind.

Hosted on 18-19 March 2021 by GALIX in collaboration with NASA, Space Renaissance International (SRI), National Space Society (NSS) and Space Satellite Professionals International (SSPI), this international online event seeks to expand international collaboration in space. The development in space programs often focuses on new space technology and hardware. Yet, the ‘softer parts’—policy, regulation, law, education, training, safety and environmental standards, institutional development, and global collaborative arrangements—are also critical for holistic space development. Progress in these areas particularly depends on global collaboration. This was the focus of the GALIX Inaugural Space Conference 2021.

Sirin Orbital Systems AG contributed to the second session: “Threats to Earth from Asteroids, Solar Storms and Consideration of the Other Broader Aspects of Planetary Defense”.
