Sirin Orbital Systems AG filed a patent for protecting an innovative system for storing water in its liquid state at temperatures below freezing without the need for heating. This invention is the intermediate outcome of an ESA-funded Early Technology Development activity in cooperation with the Institut für Energiesysteme und Fluid-Engineering (IEFE) at Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) and the Laboratory of Food and Soft Materials at ETH Zürich.
